Just a quick note to say that we have all arrived safely, and have been made very welcome here at the at the Casa Nova Franciscan Pilgrim Hostel in Bethlehem. Besides the comfortable rooms, and excellent food, we can very nearly touch the Church of the Nativity from here! Some of us had the most amazing experience praying in the Chapel where Christ was born, by ourselves!

Although we are all exhausted, Fr. Dominic and Fr. Jean-Patrice, said Mass for us in the Casa Nova Chapel. Our little choir led us beautifully through three hymns, and our singing was pretty good, considering it was a first attempt.

We have a very early Mass in the morning, after which Khalil, our guide, will join us, and we will begin to explore.
