After all the excitement of our day, we were reminded of the need for us to try and help the young people in the country where we are staying. This is also an opportunity to do something to support the few Christians who are left in this place. There is a danger that the Holy Land will become, as Pope Benedict feared, a "Christian Theme Park". 

Fr. Mamdouh joined us at our evening meal, and was concerned as two of the young adults that he cares for, need urgent operations that must be paid for. They are pictured with him in the 'photo below. If we can raise some money, it would immediately be used to improve the quality of life of these two young men. I did take a few 'photos yesterday.
